Collect class dues and course manual payments without the screenshot chaos
ClearPoint gives class reps one link to share. Each student pays your account directly, fills in their name and matric number, and uploads their receipt. You check it against your bank alert and end up with a clean list for your lecturer.
Sound familiar?
- Receipts and transfer screenshots scattered across several chats
- No quick way to tell who has paid and who has not
- The same student paying twice, or a made-up matric number
- A lecturer who wants a list while you are retyping names
How it works
- 1
Create a link
Set the amount and your account number, and choose what to collect: name, matric number, department and a payment receipt.
- 2
Share it in your class group
Students open the link on their phone. They do not need an account.
- 3
Check and tick off
Compare each receipt with your bank alert, then mark it verified or flagged.
- 4
Hand over the list
Export the verified payments as a CSV that opens in Excel (sorted by department), or print the page and save it as a PDF.
What you get
- One fixed amount, or a price list if you collect for several items
- Receipt images that stay private to you
- A warning when the same matric number appears twice
- Export to Excel (CSV) or print as PDF
- An optional closing time so the link stops at your deadline
ClearPoint never holds or moves money. Payers transfer straight to your account, and they do not need an account to use your link.
Questions
Do students need an account to pay?+
No. Only the class rep signs in (with Google). Students just open the link, fill in the form and upload their receipt.
Does ClearPoint hold the money?+
No. Students transfer straight to the bank account you enter. ClearPoint only records their details and proof.
How do I know a payment really arrived?+
ClearPoint does not check your bank. You compare each receipt with your own bank alert, then mark it verified or flagged.
